PRE-CONFERENCE WORKSHOP #1
The Fatigue Failure Mechanism in the prevention and management of WRMSD
September 20-21, 2023
Bengaluru, India + Online
About
This workshop on the fatigue failure mechanism for musculoskeletal health optimization provides valuable insights and practical tools for preventing MSDs and promoting musculoskeletal health. By understanding the underlying mechanism of cumulative damage development through repetitive stress, attendees will be better equipped to assess and mitigate MSD risk in their workplaces. The workshop also covers up-to-date information on musculoskeletal tissues, epidemiological data, injury and healing, and other related topics, providing a comprehensive understanding of MSDs. Hands-on exercises using easy-to-use fatigue failure risk assessment tools enable attendees to apply the knowledge gained in the workshop to their specific work environments. Ultimately, attending this workshop will empower individuals and organizations to optimize musculoskeletal health and prevent MSDs, leading to improved productivity, reduced healthcare costs, and a healthier and happier workforce.
